The Security Industry Association (SIA) has selected six young professionals employed at SIA member companies to receive the 2018 SIRA RISE Scholarship, an initiative through SIA’s RISE networking group for young security professionals.
The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named industry veteran Edwina (Eddie) Reynolds as the 2018 recipient of the inaugural SIA Progress Award. The award is presented by SIA’s Women in Security Forum celebrating individuals who pave the way to success for women in the security industry. The award will be presented to Reynolds during SIA Honors Night on Nov. 14, 2018 in New York City.
On May 30, 2018, the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Homeland Security released an action-oriented report on how the private sector and government can collaborate to mitigate against the threat of botnets and automated distributed attacks.
