Genesis Cable Acquired by Honeywell

Honeywell, Syosset, N.Y., completed its previously announced acquisition of Pleasant Prairie, Wis.-based Genesis Cable Systems LLC.

Genesis Cable manufactures a range of low-voltage cable for voice, video, data, access control, alarm and security, home theater, sound, and thermostat applications. The company also is a provider of structured wiring for the fast-growing home networking industry. Genesis Cable has 270 employees at its office and factory in Pleasant Prairie.
