ADT Commercial announced it has purchased premier fire, life safety and security systems provider, Edwards Electronic Systems Inc., based out of Clayton and Concord, N.C. The purchase of Edwards Electronic Systems allows ADT Commercial to serve mid-market, national and large-scale commercial customers in the Carolinas region.

For nearly 25 years, Edwards Electronic Systems has been an installer and service provider of fire and life safety, security, video surveillance, access control, nurse call and mass notification systems for commercial, industrial, educational and healthcare facilities across the Carolinas.
