Connect 2018 Awards Recap
At Connect 2018, held November 15-17 in Marco Island, Fla., awards were presented to a variety of security dealer companies and individuals both during the general sessions and at the Honors Banquet, held on the last night. The following is a recap in pictures of the awards:
Axis Communications Opens New Experience Center in Irvine, Calif.
Axis Communications, headquartered in Chelmsford, Mass., hosted a grand opening/ribbon-cutting party at their brand new Irvine, Calif. location on Tuesday, September 29. This location is part of an ongoing effort to offer “Axis Experience Centers” (AEC) in strategic locations throughout North America. These showplace facilities feature technology centers for a variety of verticals, allowing potential partners and customers to see the solution in action. Fredrik Nilsson, general manager, North America, Bill Wentlandt, business area manager for the U.S., West, and Martin Gren, Axis co-founder and director of the board, led media, partners and customers on a tour around the facility. SDM was there for the media tour and after party. Here are some photo highlights from the evening.
AiN Group 2014 Live & Learn Conference
AiN (Authorized Integrators Network) Group, now in its 13th year, held its first stand-alone conference in late January at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Fla. AiN is the managing partner of GE Home and Security Technologies (GEHT), a network of about 200 dealers who are authorized to sell and install GE-branded security systems from Interlogix, as well as sound systems, lighting, home automation, central vacuum, and other technologies from approximately 30 approved vendors.

Micro Key Solutions Users Conference 2011
Micro Key held its 18th annual users conference Feb. 15-18 in Orlando, Fla. Attendees and Micro Key staff came together to discuss new developments, share feedback and have a great time in the process.
GLASAA Meeting and Awards
Greater Los Angeles Security Alarm Association (GLASAA) held its general meeting and annual Steak BBQ on Tues., June 21, 2011 at the Los Angeles Police Academy in Los Angeles. The event included the youth scholarship winners and a special vendor exhibit.
