Winston-Salem based AlarmQuest announced it has acquired Homeguard Burglar and Fire Alarm Inc.

Founded in 1978 and based in Gastonia, N.C., Homeguard provides both residential and commercial security and fire protection. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Homeguard marks the 2nd acquisition by AQ in the Gastonia market, further expanding its geographic reach in western North Carolina.
