RapidFire Safety & Security has acquired Wiring Solutions in Oklahoma City, Okla., a provider of commercial fire and security systems installation, monitoring and low voltage cabling services.
The acquisition marks RapidFire’s third acquisition since its launch in 2021 and expands its growing service area to Oklahoma City and Tulsa. RapidFire, in partnership with Concentric Equity Partners, is acquiring Wiring Solutions from its founders Matt and Jennifer Petering, who will be transitioning out of their leadership roles into retirement.
All Wiring Solutions employees will remain with the company post-close and serve as key team members in growing RapidFire’s Oklahoma fire safety and security market, according to an announcement.
"The Wiring Solutions culture of embracing teamwork and collaboration to deliver exceptional service will serve as a great foundation to support our growth plans for the Oklahoma market,” said RapidFire CEO and Founder Mike McLeod. “We’re thrilled to take the reins from Matt and Jennifer and continue building upon their success and goals to achieve their full market potential."
Colin Harrold, co-founder at RapidFire, said "It's such a great feeling to share in this exciting part of Matt and Jennifer’s amazing journey and transition to enjoy the rewards of their years of hard work. Their legacy will be preserved through the great people that they have groomed and developed."
RapidFire Safety & Security provides a full suite of fire, safety and security services to the commercial sector. The company is pursuing a buy and build growth strategy in the southwestern U.S. The company said it is interested in developed fire safety and security companies “with a high degree of integrity, customer service and employee retention."
The company's previously announced acquisitions in 2022 include Pacific Auxiliary Fire Alarm Co. (PAFA) and Security & Access Systems.
