CertaSite announced the acquisition of Lafayette, Ind.-based Ace Fire Protection, a full-service fire protection business servicing the greater Lafayette region.
Ace Fire Protection was founded in 1964. Its reputation will allow it to grow under CertaSite within its current customer base and expand into new markets. Owners Bob and Bryan Thomas will remain with the company through the transition, and Ace’s employees retained their jobs in the acquisition to join the CertaSite family, according to the announcement.
“We are grateful to Bob, Bryan and the entire Ace Fire Protection family for their continued partnership throughout this process,” said Jeff Wyatt, CEO of CertaSite. “We are committed to preserving the legacy these dedicated professionals built and recognize and respect their strong local presence. We look forward to building on that foundation by offering employees development and career advancement, and expanded services and support to customers.”
The acquisition is CertaSite’s second in Indiana, which is also home to the company’s headquarters and 20th overall add-on acquisition.
“CertaSite is the perfect partner to build on the foundation laid by our employees and customers,” stated former owners Bob and Bryan Thomas. “With CertaSite, we have a unique opportunity to blend our knowledge base with a technology-based platform that offers new product lines, is professional and rooted in best practices, and provides significant value for customers.”
CertaSite is a commercial fire protection and life safety company founded in 2018. The company operates 19 locations and serves customers across the Midwest.
