Today, Thursday, March 30, three event security leaders will give a keynote address titled “Leveraging Technology in Modern Security Operations for Major Events.”

At 8:45 a.m. in Venetian Ballroom F, speakers Jim Mercurio, Former Executive Vice President & General Manager, Levi’s Stadium; John Bertsch, Executive Director of Global Safety and Security, IRONMAN Group; and Joe Monroe, Chief of Police, University of Kentucky, will discuss the importance of security technology in maintaining secure event environments.

Technology has become a critical component of modern security operations, emergency planning and preparedness for major events. Integrated security solutions are leveraged in a variety of ways to enhance situational awareness, identify threats, improve coordination, and streamline event operations.
