The Monitoring Association (TMA) has announced the addition of meeting and events professional Keely Daugherty to its team.
She brings nearly 10 years of experience working in meetings and events for non-profits and membership associations. Most recently, Daugherty managed conferences on a government contract for the U.S. Department of Defense. Daugherty is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is currently in the process of earning continuing education credit to obtain her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification.
“For TMA, meetings play a significant role in the life of our professional community,” said Celia T. Besore, CEO, TMA. “Our members look to us to provide opportunities for network-building and, in some cases, new business development. For these reasons, this is a critical position for our small team of seven. Keely possesses a combination of the knowledge, experience and expertise required to deliver the highest quality programming that has long been the hallmark of TMA. She has integrated seamlessly with our team.”
Daugherty said, “I have always loved bringing people together to celebrate, meet and learn. I also love seeing the organization’s hard work come together in a tangible way. I am excited to meet TMA members at events and create both engaging and meaningful experiences for them to network and share ideas.”
