HiveWatch, a physical security software company, announced that Steve Hult will join the HiveWatch leadership team as chief revenue officer (CRO). In this role, Hult will spearhead the company’s sales, customer success and partnership teams.
“What gets me so excited about joining HiveWatch is listening to security executives at world-class organizations describe all the ways we’re making their people more impactful and their facilities safer,” Hult said. “HiveWatch’s ability to take complex, oftentimes convoluted operations and create efficient, intuitive workflows sets us apart in physical security. I’m eager to establish a foundation for the company to meet the demand we’re seeing in the market.”
Hult spent the last nine years at Twitter, where he was most recently the head of revenue, developer platform and data licensing. In this role, he led revenue strategy and execution across new business, customer success and channel/enterprise partnerships. Prior to joining Twitter, Hult led sales at Gnip, a social media API aggregation company which was acquired by Twitter in 2014 for $134 million.
Dick Costolo, former Twitter CEO, said, “Scaling HiveWatch to meet a critical need in the market is what Steve is prepared to do. He was instrumental in scaling a revenue org at Twitter and I’m excited to see him do it again at HiveWatch at this inflection point in its growth.”
“As HiveWatch continues to build on its early successes, adding Steve and his experience to the company as CRO positions us to accelerate our growth in further establishing process and consistency in how we approach going to market,” said Ryan Schonfeld, founder and CEO, HiveWatch. “Steve will be instrumental in continuing to establish a strong foundation for HiveWatch as it enters the next phase of growth.”
