NAPCO Security Technologies has unveiled new branding for its Continental Access division, along with launching a new dealer program, to better represent the full scope of the company’s scalable end-to-end solutions and create more value and opportunities for dealers.

Introducing the new brand name, Napco Access Pro, was motivated by advancements in the security industry and evolution of new products, Aaron Black, vice president of sales, Continental Access Group, explained to SDM in an exclusive interview.

“When companies experience growth its common to see changes,” he said. “These changes are what is best for the customers of NAPCO and to fuel future growth.”

Black, an industry veteran having worked for several industry manufacturers in access control, video surveillance and security, joined NAPCO in April to head up the new initiatives.

“The brand Continental, with its rich history, will continue to advance and live on as our enterprise system and robust panels of the CA4K security management platform. But with a new name and new dealer program, it will be better represented to expand a host of offerings we have,” he said.

The updated branding will coincide with new product releases during the year, including:  Bluetooth readers; newly-integrated security cameras and wireless locks on the company’s embedded systems; new integrated biometric readers and video intercoms on the company’s new Enterprise Continental Hosted Solution, which features new look, reactive menus, 128-bit encryption, Windows 11/Win Server 22 support and redesigned Continental panels.

“The goal is growth and to create more brand awareness. Not only do we need to help grow and support our current dealer base with new solutions, we need to appeal to the younger generation coming into the security industry,” Black explained.

He continued, “Changes are always made to create a positive impact within the marketplace. Our goal is to create value for our current and new dealers, to give them a brand/solution that they are proud to install and can’t get anywhere but from the Napco Access Pro Dealer Program.”

Dealer Program Details

Black said the Napco Access Pro Dealer Program is designed and well suited for SMB dealers to enterprise level integrators. There are three  levels (Silver, Gold and Diamond) to accommodate dealers and integrators and cater to their individual markets.

“Plus,” he said, “the program should be attractive to those dealers that want to differentiate themselves from competitors.”

Napco Access Pro will have five key solutions to offer dealers:

  • Enterprise solutions: Continental panels/CA4K software
  • SMB embedded/browser-based access: Pro E-Access panels
  • SMB cell/cloud-hosted: Air Access
  • Wireless access control locking
  • Pro video solutions, readers and credentials

Among new program highlights are preferred pricing tiers and growth incentives; protected territories; lead generation; dedicated account management; continuing pro education options and opportunities; marketing tools; an annual members-only awards event; and much more.

Beginning immediately, all new dealers will follow new program guidelines.

“It will be a fresh start for them,” Black said. “To acclimate our current dealers that meet program requirements, they will be given six months to adjust to the new program and our team will be working closely with them to help achieve their goals.”
