Sting Alarm, the Las Vegas-based security and fire systems company, has announced its partnership with Jewish Nevada as part of its dedication to community safety, coinciding with National Safety Month.

The two parties will collaborate to enhance the safety and security of the Jewish community by employing advanced security surveillance systems. This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both parties to the well-being of the community. In addition to being a bronze sponsor for this year, Sting Alarm will also participate in various Jewish Nevada events throughout the year. Jon Perry, the president and co-founder of Sting Alarm, will lead this initiative.

“Security is a pressing concern in our community,” said Perry. “We are grateful for the trust and the ongoing partnership with Jewish Nevada. As antisemitism becomes increasingly prevalent in our city and across the nation, we take immense pride in supporting Jewish Nevada's mission to ensure the continuity and vibrancy of Jewish life in Nevada.”

Jewish Nevada is the only organization representing the 70,000 Jews in Nevada. The organization is committed to assessing and addressing the needs of the entire community, building a vibrant community and sustaining Jewish life throughout Nevada, Israel and globally upholding the values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Tzedakah (righteousness and philanthropy) and G’milut Hasadim (acts of kindness and service).

Stefanie Tuzman, president and CEO of Jewish Nevada, said, “Ensuring the safety and security of our office and community is vital to the success and mission of Jewish Nevada. Thanks to the enduring partnership and support from Sting Alarm, we can provide a secure environment for all members of our community to celebrate Jewish life.”

Beth LaManna, the regional security advisor for Jewish Nevada, expressed gratitude towards Sting Alarm's partnership and support in maintaining the security of the Federation and the community. LaManna is a 22-year veteran of the FBI and has diverse experience including serving as a Special Agent, crisis negotiations coordinator and primary coordinator for the National Center for Analysis of Violent Crimes within the FBI. Post-retirement from the FBI, she was the director of security at Queens College in Flushing, NY, responsible for the public safety and security of nearly 25,000 students, faculty, and staff on an 80-acre campus.
