AMAG Technology, an Allied Universal Company, announced the hiring of Roland Fournier as vice president, product management. He will serve as the lead product officer of AMAG Technology and is responsible for the vision, development and strategy of all Symmetry products.

Fournier will oversee the design and manufacturing planning of the AMAG product portfolio, defining the company’s product direction in line with its strategic goals, according to the announcement. In leading the AMAG product team, Fournier will ensure that AMAG's products are leading-edge and competitively positioned, enhancing the company’s product portfolio.

“I am excited to bring Fournier onboard as the vice president of product management to lead us forward into our next generation of products,” said David Sullivan, president of AMAG Technology. “His experience will help us achieve our vision to change the profile of access control. His role will revive our development, improve our strategy and help coordinate communication across key departments to ensure the success of our Symmetry portfolio of products.”

Fournier was the senior director of product and solutions at HID Global where he managed a team of product managers and marketers responsible for over 100 products. Before HID Global, he spent 14 years at IDEMIA in senior product management roles.
