Greensite, a Ronkonkoma, N.Y.-based provider of commercial and residential alarms, surveillance and automation, announced the acquisition of Advantage Alarms, located in Rockland County, N.Y.  

The acquisition is said to represent a significant milestone for Greensite, solidifying its position as a leading security provider in the Tri-State region.  

The acquisition enhances the range of Greensite’s services, extending its security portfolio through the combined offerings of both companies. The growth provides customers with a more robust and reliable security solution, and Greensite with an expanded geographical presence, according to the announcement. 

The acquisition benefits current customers of Greensite and Advantage Alarms with access to the additional resources and services each company supplemented, as well as continuity in service throughout a larger region. The increased scale enables Greensite to better serve clients across various sectors, including residential, commercial and industrial.
