NSI Industries is expanding operations and services for its Building Technology division with an all new facility in Ohio, resulting in an additional 90,000 square feet of space in support of the LYNN Electronics and Platinum Tools brands.
Located in Springboro, the new facility will improve inventory availability and shipment times for the two brands’ Midwestern partners, according to an announcement.
“NSI, through our LYNN brand, has been an active member of the local Springboro and greater Dayton, Ohio, communities through local athletic and charity sponsorships,” explained Mike Boulanger, general manager, NSI Building Technology. “This facility expansion will add an estimated 50 percent more employees over the coming 24 months and affirms NSI’s plans to grow and support the local economy.”
Platinum Tools has been providing wares to low-voltage professionals since 1997. The company specializes in tools, testers and installation accessories used for the preparation, termination and integration of wire and cable.
NSI Industries acquired LYNN Electronics, a manufacturer and supplier of custom fiber optic and copper assemblies for the data center and broadband markets, in 2022. The company’s products are manufactured in Pennsylvania and California, and are said to be one of the few elite Corning Gold Certified cable assembly lines in the U.S.
NSI’s Building Technology division is headquartered in North Wales, Pa., and focused on the electrical, building technology and HVAC markets.
