VuWall announced the completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type I attestation, for security. SOC 2 is a framework for managing and securing data developed that defines criteria for managing and protecting customer data based on five trust service criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. SOC 2 compliance is crucial for technology organizations to demonstrate their commitment to safeguarding the privacy and security of the information they handle, providing assurance to their clients and stakeholders effectiveness of their products, controls and processes.

Our SOC 2 achievement is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to our clients, and we take this responsibility very seriously, said Mark Schmidt, CTO of VuWall. Successfully completing our SOC 2 audit demonstrates how we prioritize the security, privacy, confidentiality and integrity of customer data. The importance of internal best practices addressing risks to prevent breaches and help create a culture of security, ensuring that robust controls are in place, was another driver.

VuWall completed an independent audit, with the support of Strike Graph, confirming VuWalls controls related to its information security practices, policies, procedures and operations met the rigorous SOC 2 standards for security, as developed by the the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

SOC 2 compliance has become an essential part of meeting industry standards and customer expectations for so many organizations, especially those working in cybersecurity and other critical environments, like VuWall, said Justin Beals, CEO and founder at Strike Graph. We are proud to have been able to help VuWall navigate through the complex process of getting their SOC 2 compliance and meet this important milestone.
