ADT has announced Tim Rains has been appointed chief information security officer.

Rains has over 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, notably from his recent tenures at T-Mobile and Amazon, and with 17 years spent at Microsoft.

Rains has spearheaded initiatives in cybersecurity strategy, assurance, compliance, vulnerability management, risk management and governance — all areas that ADT said it prioritizes to ensure the safety of its customers through its security systems and services.
