Convergint, a global leader in service-based systems integration, has acquired Panavidéo, a Canada-based integrator that specializes in the design, implementation and servicing of access control and video security solutions throughout Quebec.

The acquisition enhances Convergint’s service to customers in Canada, expanding its technology capabilities in the utilities, higher education, healthcare and data center markets.

Founded in 1969, Panavidéo is a leading security systems integrator that meets customers’ complex business and security challenges with advanced and emerging IP video and access control technologies. Nearly 40 local Panavidéo colleagues will join Convergint, enabling the company to better service its customers in the region and accelerate growth, according to an announcement.
