At the heart of the kit is a one-module or greater KeyWatcher Touch system, which stores facility keys in an electronic cabinet, only to be accessed by those with the proper permissions (i.e., facility managers and first responders). Using a unique PIN code or other provided credential, emergency personnel can swiftly retrieve the required keys, such as those for locked rooms or secured areas, enabling them to enter and address the situation promptly. In addition to the KeyWatcher Touch, the EKG kit also includes additional materials and support required to provide first responders with fast, protected access to facility keys in the event of an active shooter, natural disaster or other emergency.
