The California Alarm Association (CAA) recognized Lilianne G. Chaumont with the Mark Schubert Memorial Award for her outstanding dedication and contributions to the electronic security and life safety industries.

Chaumont was presented the award on May 17 during CAA’s Spring Convention in Palm Springs, Calif. Chaumont, president of Chaumont Law, has been a pillar of the electronic and physical security, fire and life safety industries for over 25 years, according to an announcement. Her law firm is dedicated to protecting and representing companies nationwide that provide a wide range of services, including intrusion detection, monitoring, fire detection and suppression, access control and more.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Chaumont has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to giving back to the industry. She has served as the CAA Youth Scholarship Chair for 10 years and as an ESA Scholarship Judge for eight years. Through her involvement with the CAA Youth Scholarship Program, Chaumont is credited with making a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals in the law enforcement and firefighting communities.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive the Mark Schubert Memorial Award,” Chaumont said. “Volunteering and serving others with excellence and joy is at the core of my beliefs. The CAA Youth Scholarship Program has allowed me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of deserving children of law enforcement and firefighter parents and their families. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a worthy cause.”

The Mark Schubert Memorial Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an associate member of the CAA. Each year, local chapter presidents nominate an associate member who has made the most significant impact through volunteering. The CAA President then selects the recipient, and the award includes a $500 grant sponsored by ISC West, which the recipient can designate to any industry program or association.

“Lilianne’s dedication to the industry and her unwavering commitment to the CAA Youth Scholarship Program make her an exemplary recipient of the Mark Schubert Memorial Award,” said CAA President Sean Cooke. “Her passion for serving others and her dedicated efforts have touched the lives of many, and we are proud to recognize her outstanding contributions.”
