The partnership between Ajax Systems and Yale is expanding into North America.

This step follows successful previous introductions of the integration in 35 countries worldwide and brings advanced smart lock solutions to users in the United States and Canada, according to the announcement.

Ajax Systems’ and Yale’s customers in the United States and Canada will now be able to benefit from a seamless integration and manage Yale Smart Locks directly from the Ajax Security System app. All it takes is to add a compatible Wi-Fi enabled Yale smart lock, such as the Yale Assure Lock 2 or the new retrofit Yale Approach Lock, to the Ajax app, the announcement states.

The products that are compatible with the integration in the United States and Canada differ from those in the EMEA region. Here is a complete list of Wi-Fi-enabled smart locks that are compatible with the integration in the United States and Canada:

  • Yale Assure Lock 2 with Wi-Fi
  • Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch with Wi-Fi
  • Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus with Wi-Fi
  • Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi and Keypad
  • Yale Assure Lock with Wi-Fi
  • Yale Assure Levers with Wi-Fi

Ajax system provides control and automation of Wi-Fi-enabled Yale smart locks. Key benefits of the integration include:

  • Real-time notifications: instant push notifications of lock/unlock events and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Event history: a detailed log of lock events available in the Ajax app.
  • Easy management: control over access and permissions of all system users, including professional installers and security companies.
  • Automation: system scenarios and commands. For example, users can have the security system arm/disarm automatically when the lock is locked/unlocked.
