Connect ONE from Connected Technologies LLC, in partnership with Cansec Systems Ltd., Mississauga, Can., has added a direct cloud integration with MAP access controllers.
Cansec’s Modular Access Panels (MAP), are self-contained access controller boards that handle from one to eight doors and as many as 100,000 users. Multiple controllers can also be installed to handle access systems of any size.
“We are pleased that Connected Technologies has integrated the MAP Controllers with Connect One,” said Fred Dawber, president of Cansec Systems. “This will allow a broader base of dealers to experience the power and flexibility of the Cansec MAP controllers. The integration offers a cost-effective way to manage access control, intrusion and video all from a single platform, making the end-user experience more unified.”
The Connect ONE hosted platform brings seamless cloud control to a wide range of devices and systems through a single management interface. With the new integration partnership, MAP access controllers have the capability of easy, outbound only network communications and additional management control through the Connect ONE Application. Users can accomplish a wide range of programming and scheduling tasks without additional hardware such as an intrusion panel, streamlining projects while adding capabilities. The integration allows for:
- Availability of 256 access time windows for scheduling and permissions.
- The ability to create and manage door and output schedules and set task rules for secure/lockout mode upon arming and disarming.
- Emergency lockdown support.
- Card import capability and user API support for external software integration.
- Support for Farpointe Conekt Bluetooth credentials.
- Card reader access configuration options, for example card only or card plus PIN.
- Access to other Connect One features, including GeoView Satellite Mapping, event and time rules, mass notification, visitor management and the newest Emergency Response Platform.
