Simpro Group, a global provider of field service management solutions, has acquired BigChange, a pioneer in job management software for the field services industry, located in the United Kingdom.
The strategic acquisition of BigChange marks a significant milestone in Simpro Group’s journey, further expanding its capabilities while strengthening the depth and breadth of its offering and ability to scale rapidly across the U.K and globally, according to an announcement.
Simpro markets a comprehensive suite of software tools in the United States designed to streamline field service management. These tools include job quoting and estimating, which help businesses create accurate quotes and win more work, and scheduling and dispatching, which ensure timely service delivery by efficiently managing field technicians.
The acquisition is said to significantly enhance Simpro Group’s ability to deliver a prescriptive, end-to-end approach to field service optimization, particularly in vehicle tracking, mobile workforce management, CRM and advanced scheduling. By integrating these capabilities, Simpro Group can now offer increased flexibility, catering to diverse customer needs with tailored solutions that creates one of the leading solutions in both scalability and configurability, according to the announcement. This expanded portfolio complements Simpro Group’s position in its key market verticals such as facilities management, building maintenance, plant hire, and fire and security services, providing comprehensive tools that drive operational efficiency across industries of all sizes.
With BigChange’s mobile-first technology, real-time data insights and back-office integration capabilities, Simpro Group said it is positioned to address the evolving needs of customers in asset-heavy environments and those requiring mobile workforce solutions. The acquisition also strengthens Simpro Group’s role in the field service software market, supporting the demand for solutions that offer flexibility and innovation.
“With the integration of BigChange, we are not only expanding our portfolio and adding talented employees to our team, but also unifying our approach to field service management across the U.K. and the globe,” said Gary Specter, CEO of Simpro Group. “Together, we will deliver even greater value to our customers, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their unique and evolving business needs.”
