Sielox, formerly Checkpoint Systems Inc. access control products group, has upgraded the capabilities of its Pinnacle access control software to Version 5.0. In this version, a lost network connection results in an automatic reconnect, without the client being logged in as an administrator. Upon a connection disruption, a network status message, along with an audible signal, is initiated at each appropriate work station. When LAN communications are restored, the network status message is updated with a reconnect button enabled.Sielox
