The XCL-X700 digital camera is one in a series of cameras from Sony Electronics Inc. The XCL-X700 features a 1/3-type progressive scan CCD that captures high-quality monochrome images in square pixels. The camera gives an XGA image (1,024 x 768 pixels) at a rate of 29.2 fps. It also features an external shutter speed of 1/4 to 1/100,000 seconds. The ultra-compact camera weighs two ounces and is 1 3/16 inches cubed. Sony Electronics Inc.
