A PC-linked desktop reader from Omnikey has been specifically designed to work with a standard HID proximity card. The CardMan 5125, linked to the PC with a USB connector, is based on a 125 kHz RFID interface that reads the unique ID number. The CardMan 5125 allows organizations to implement new PC-linked applications without providing new badges to cardholders. The unit is compatible with formats ranging from 26 bits to a Corporate 1000. Omnikey
