From Security First Networks, the Security Port is a bi-directional integration platform for network management systems. The product ports security alarm events into management systems and brings network events into existing central station alarm monitoring automation. This allows both operations and security management to collate events within existing event monitoring and notification systems. The Security Port system has an analog-ethernet, Contact ID interface, which enables central station monitoring over the network or Internet of out-of-band devices such as intrusion alarms panels. The system supports the management of any SNMP-compliant network device and supports point-specific reporting from systems such as access control and networked video systems. Failure notification is monitored through the network, eliminating the need for e-mail or pager notifications. Security First Networks
