Potter Electric Signal Co.’s BPS, Baseless Photoelectric Smoke detector for residential installations, operates on either 12 or 24VDC. The baseless photoelectric smoke detector models include the BPS-2, which is a two-wire device, and the BPS-4, which is a four-wire unit. The BPS states LED changes color to indicate the detector sensitivity is out of the UL range. The BPS is available in either white or eggshell color, and is also available with heat sensors.
