A Web-based Application Program Interface (API) for S2 Security Corp.’s S2 NetBox line of integrated security management network appliances allows an enterprise IT system to issue and revoke access credentials for areas controlled by S2 NetBox. The program can be used to access customer information and assign certain access privileges to individuals. Authentication methodology protects communication between the IT system and the security system through the API.
