Tyco Fire & Security releases its next generation radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions, which are part of the company’s Sensormatic product line. These solutions include its new SensorID RFID Agile Reader Series 2 and the accompanying SensorID OmniWave antenna for use in supply chain tracking of cases and pallets. The Agile Reader Series 2, licensed from and co-developed with Thing Magic LLC, recognizes two new EPC-based communications protocols, allowing users to take another step toward meeting the 2005 retail supply chain tracking standards.
