The Chamberlain Group Inc. has enhanced its LiftMaster models SL570, SL580 and SL590 heavy-duty slide gate operators. All operators come standard with a built-in radio receiver for use with DIP switch and Security+ remote controls. New features include a larger control box for easier access to major components with improved terminal strip labeling. An integrated three-button control station features open/close/stop buttons that speed installation and troubleshooting. Additional wiring to set the open and close limits for the gate is eliminated. The SL575 and SL585 models include a large accessory tray and knockouts for running power and control wiring. A universal footprint simplifies retrofit applications by adapting mounting pads. The lockable external manual disconnect allows the gate to be opened if power is lost. The 575 is a heavy-duty chain drive slide gate operator that supports gates up to 50 ft. long weighing up to 1,800 lbs. Both the 575 and 585 feature power-coated weather steel enclosures with a high-starting torque motor. The 595 operator is for industrial applications and should be used on gates that are up to 90 ft. long and weight up to 2,500 lbs. All three are UL325 compliant for Classes I, II, III and IV.Chamberlain Group
