The six, two-day workshops are for technicians who design home integration systems and who are looking to take the next step in their careers. CEDIA certified instructor Todd B. Adams will lead each of the workshops, teaching attendees how to design their own complex residential electronics systems to maximize performance. Adams, a veteran speaker and systems designer, is president of DIpartner.com and author of three books on residential electronics system design.

Workshop topics include how to develop an engineering design philosophy, create a cable specification plan, generate a system design using block diagrams, lay out a system design on floor plans, create programming specifications and how to perform a project-needs analysis.
