The Elite EL2000 telephone entry system from Chamberlain Professional Products is engineered for gated communities, apartment buildings, condo complexes, office parks and commercial sites. It accepts up to 2,000 flexible directory or access codes and features a backlit 5-in. LCD screen which can display up to four lines with 20 characters per line. It can be ordered as a base unit or with optional Wiegand or RF plug-in modules. Intelligent features for greater flexibility and simplified installation include four built-in relays designed to activate doors and gates. These relays can be set to function as strike, shunt, alarm or CCTV. The system may be set up and maintained remotely via a modem featuring versatile Versa XS 2.0 access control programming software. For simpler installation, the unit can also be programmed directly through the main keypad utilizing the LCD screen. ADA-compliant voice prompts guide installers through the system setup at the unit’s main keypad and assist end users with the push of a button.
