TOA Electronics Inc. expands its N-8000 Series IP network intercom system with two new outdoor substations. The Q-N8540WP outdoor IP substation and Q-N8050WP outdoor substation are designed with silicon-coated circuit boards to withstand extreme temperature climates and are IP44-rated. The Q-N8540WP outdoor IP substation can connect directly to the 10/100Base TX network, only occupies one network node and is Power-over-Ethernet-compatible. Additional features include hands-free duplex communications, a separate microphone and speaker and control output (open collector type). The Q-N8050WP outdoor substation offers two-wire connection to the N-8000EX or N-8010EX exchange, hands-free duplex communication and a separate microphone and speaker.
