Lilin, Arcadia, Calif., founded in 1980 at its worldwide headquarters in Taiwan, has grown internationally to include 12 branch offices around the world and a staff of 600 employees worldwide. Lilin manufactures a full line of CCTV products including DVRs, cameras, IR products, housings and accessories, and a line of PTZ cameras, all at one of the company’s two manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and China.

"All Lilin products are designed, engineered and assembled in one of our manufacturing facilities. We develop and manufacture every single piece of our products from the ground up," said Janet Zheng, general manager of Lilin USA.

As part of a re-branding strategy, the company has launched a new logo in favor of the single name “Lilin.” Lilin, which in Chinese means “of the highest standard” is focusing its efforts on the branding awareness of its high-quality products and aggressive pricing, Zheng said. Part of Lilin’s initiative is to emphasize its products in comparison to other brand names in terms of quality, service, and pricing, which are ongoing efforts at the U.S. headquarters in California.

This year, Lilin will release a number of products, including a new version of its standalone Linux-based DVR, a line of wide-dynamic PTZ cameras, and an expanded line of mini-dome, IR, and IP cameras. Lilin’s U.S. growth continues to fuel the need for company expansion. The company plans to launch a branch office on the East Coast sometime in the coming years, according to Zheng.
