Fargo Electronics Inc.’s HDP5000 card printer/encoder is a single-sided reverse image printer that uses the company’s patented high definition printing (HDP) technology. A modular system, the basic single-sided model can be upgraded in the factory or field with a dual-sided printing option, and a dual-sided lamination module. The lamination module simultaneously applies Fargo’s PolyGuard Overlaminate to both sides of a printed card. Factory or field-installed encoding modules are also available for magnetic stripes and for smart card technology.
