Bosch Security Systems offers software for the DiBos 8 digital video recorder. The 8.21 version helps the DVR to deliver crisper images and alert users to degraded video quality or lost camera signals. The DVR now offers recording, live viewing and playback of analog and IP video at 4CIF resolution. A tamper detection system will generate an alarm if a camera is repositioned or if the video signal is lost. It also generates a warning when a camera is out of focus or when video images are abnormally bright or dark.
