Net Botz is an IP network-based system from APC Corp. that is designed for monitoring sensitive IT equipment. It combines video, temperature, and motion sensing for prevention of sabotage by disgruntled employees and damage by climate conditions including fluid damage. The wall- and rack-mountable NetBotz 420 and 500 units combine integrated sensors for monitoring temperature, humidity, airflow, dewpoint, audio and have four additional sensor ports available. Each unit has an image processor generating 24-bit color and images up to 20 frames per sec., and each allows for optional network connections including 802.11b wireless LAN, GSM/SMS wireless modem and PPP dial modems.APC Corp.
