Jim McMullen, president of C.O.P.S. Monitoring, looks forward to welcoming these new dealers and subscribers into the C.O.P.S. Monitoring family.
“Without a doubt, SAI established themselves as a leader in the wholesale alarm monitoring marketplace via their unique software and high level of customer service,” McMullen said. “We are confident that this new base of dealers will quickly see that C.O.P.S. Monitoring is totally dedicated to serving their needs. Over the next six months, the dealers will see vast benefits as the best practices and services of SAI are integrated into the C.O.P.S. Monitoring proprietary software platform.”
That software was the focus of a recently completed $250,000 database management software upgrade. As a result of the upgrade, the integration between COPS’ database and the company’s COP-A-Link online customer and dealer access portal is more seamless, offering secure, simultaneous and full-featured web connectivity, as well as access to richer data sets. This increased speed and stability are especially important for COPS dealers who access COP-A-Link from the field or enroute to a customer site.
The new software, D3 Database Management, is fully integrated and customizable with COPS’ proprietary central station management software, providing the capacity for dealer and account base growth without affecting the company’s high level of service, the company reported.
“Our new software solution will help COPS meet our goal of delivering the most consistent and professional service to our dealers and monitored accounts today and in the future,” McMullen said.
C.O.P.S. Monitoring has been dedicated to providing wholesale alarm monitoring services for the past 30 years. It now serves more than 3,100 dealers representing more than 500,000 subscribers from three interconnected and fully redundant monitoring central stations located in New Jersey, Florida and Arizona. C.O.P.S. Monitoring was founded in 1978. For information visit www.copsmonitoring.com.
