The supervisory board of Basler AG, Ahrensburg, Germany, appointed Arndt Bake to the Management Board. Effective Jan. 1, 2011 Bake complements Chief Executive Officer Dr. Dietmar Ley and Chief Commercial Officer John Jennings. As Chief Operations Officer Bake will be responsible for product management, production and supply chain management.

Arndt Bake has a master degree in electronics engineering and an MBA degree. In his former business career he worked in product marketing functions. After joining Basler in 2001, Bake took responsibility for the product marketing of the Components business segment. From 2004 to mid-2009 he lead the Components business segment. Since then Arndt Bake oversees the entire operational business of Basler AG.
