CEDIA EXPO, the tradeshow for new technologies, training, and networking in the residential electronic systems industry, returns to the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Ga., Sept. 22-26, 2010. The EXPO brings an expanded line-up for 2010, delivering product displays and announcements from top manufacturers, education from CEDIA University, and more.


A Future Technology Pavilion will showcase cutting-edge technologies in four areas: The Future of Sustainable Lifestyles, the Future of Home Health, the Future of Residential Communications, and the Future of Home Entertainment. Additionally, 21 new CEDIA University courses and 12 revised courses, the CEDIA University $299 All-Inclusive Education Pass that allows attendees can take unlimited courses for a flat rate, a Learning Lab EST Skill Challenge that allows technicians to test their skills in a hands-on environment, training and certification for the EPA’s Lead: Renovation, Repair and Painting rule, the CEDIA EXPO OnDemand Powered by rAVe, Future Technology Panel Discussions (about entertainment, opportunities in residential communications, digital home health and HDMI), a new Follow-Me app from official CEDIA vendor Core-Apps (designed to enhance the tradeshow experience and provide valuable show information on smartphones), and more have been incorporated into the show.


CEDIA will also offer courses, seminars, and certification programs at the Expo for attendees looking to build on their knowledge of sustainable lifestyles. CEDIA’s sustainability focused programs will include offerings on energy management, energy audits, photovoltaic systems and more.


The CEDIA Annual Membership Meeting and Keynote Panel will be held Friday, September 26, from 8:45-10:30, and will discuss “The Future of Energy Management.” Leaders in consumer technology, energy management, and smart grid technology will deliver the state of the union as it relates to energy management and the electronic systems industry.


The CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Aawards Banquet will take place Saturday, September 25. A new Attendees Choice award will be given. Expo attendees will vote during the expo for their favorite product via an online voting system.


The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is also offering three seminars at CEDIA EXPO 2010 that pertain to the security industry.

HAI Expands Connectivity Partner Program X 5

Home Automation Inc.
