Jonathan Beach |
Silent Knight by Honeywell, Northford, Conn., appointed Jonathan Beach as its new regional sales manager for the U.S. Northwest territory. Beach is responsible for providing sales support to Silent Knight’s Farenhyt engineered systems distributors and security equipment distributors throughout Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Beach is NICET III certified and recently passed the NICET IV examination. He also serves on the Fire Alarm Code of Appeals and Advisory Board for the City of Spokane’s Fire Department.
Dakota Security Systems Inc., Sioux Falls, S.D., introduced Brad Miller as regional vice president for its Arizona regional office. Miller brought to Dakota Security Systems 15 years of experience in sales, sales management, operations management, and general management in businesses that provide electronic and physical security to large commercial and financial customers.
Veracity added two more sales and logistics staff and moved its United States headquarters to Glen Rock, N.J. following significant growth in sales throughout North America this year. The move from Texas to New Jersey will position Veracity’s U.S. headquarters closer to East coast customers and partners such as Axis USA, Samsung and ONSSI. All staff was relocated and two new staff members have joined the company. According to Alastair McLeod, managing director and founder of Veracity UK Limited, 40 percent of group sales for Veracity came from U.S. operations in 2010.

Tri-Ed / Northern Video Distribution, Woodbury, N.Y., announced the addition of Gary Perlin to its product marketing department. Perlin serves as director of CCTV products and is based out of the corporate office in Woodbury, N.Y. Perlin has more than 25 years of CCTV experience, and has held various senior roles in the industry and most recently served as vice president of video product management for a leading industry manufacturer where he developed and directed its line of CCTV products.
Infinova, Monmouth Junction, N.J., announced that Jeff Hanna joined the technical support staff at Infinova headquarters in the United States, which provides technical support for Infinova integrators in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. Most recently, Hanna has been in electronic sales and support.

Melville, N.Y.-based ADI, appointed Michael Flink as general manager and vice president, ADI North America. In this position, Flink is responsible for driving business initiatives across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. He oversees all operations including sales, marketing, customer service, inventory and logistics. Flink joined Honeywell in 2003, and most recently served as the general manager for Honeywell Security Middle East, where he opened the first office in the region and established the sales, marketing, technical support and supply chain to serve customers in 22 countries.
Bosch Security Systems Inc., Ottobrunn, Germany, appointed six new sales managers for the South and Northeast regions of the United States. Each sales representative is responsible for working with Bosch dealers and integrators in their designated areas to help them win, support and maintain top-quality security installations. Dale Duda manages the Video Solutions portfolio in Northern Texas. Pete Peaco manages the Video Solutions portfolio for Southern Texas. Mike Trinklein manages the Video Solutions portfolio for Oklahoma and Arkansas. Gary Gawler, a Certified Protection Professional, handles sales of the intrusion, fire and access control (IFA) portfolio for the New York metropolitan area, including Northern New Jersey. Cynthia Ross holds responsibility for the IFA portfolio in Texas and Oklahoma. And Bob Mayne is the access control sales manager for Oklahoma and Texas.
Vancouver, Canada-based Avigilon promoted key executives within the organization and hired three new sales executives.
The top global sales performer in 2008 and 2009, Bryan Schmode, was promoted to vice president of sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific, responsible for heading up Avigilon’s business operations to support continued growth throughout the Americas and Asia Pacific.
A top sales performer at Avigilon for the past three years, Brian Giampaoli was promoted to senior sales director for the eastern United States, responsible for managing customer, integrator, and consultant relationships and generating growth in the region.
Bryan Terrell was appointed to the newly created position of regional sales director for the south central United States. Gary Thomas takes on the role of regional sales director for the Pacific Northwest. Kaj Långström was appointed the regional sales director for the Nordic countries and the Baltics.

VidSys, Marlborough, Mass., a provider of physical security information management (PSIM) software, has grown its senior management team and added to its board of directors. Kenneth Boyda joined the board as the newest independent director and Eric Driscoll was appointed the company’s new vice president of professional services. Together, they brought nearly six decades of experience to their new roles.

Honeywell, Melville, N.Y., made additions to its sales, marketing and finance teams. Scott Ferguson was appointed as regional sales manager for video products for Southern California and Hawaii. Ferguson’s primary focus is driving sales through dealer conversions, loyalty programs, IP solutions, and support of the company’s channel partners. He has more than 15 years of industry experience. Paul Ratcliffe has also joined Honeywell as director of marketing for the Security Group’s Systems business. He is responsible for leading marketing strategy development and implementation. Harold Allen was named lead finance analyst of Honeywell Security Group’s Systems business. He will lead balance sheet and free cash flow reporting and analysis.
Pixim Inc., Mountain View, Calif., appointed David Beech, a surveillance security professional with over 28 years industry experience, as channel development director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
