Alvarado improved its MST line of full height turnstile products; all now come standard with HydraLine™ Speed Control, which provides a consistently smooth, controlled, rotation across all types of installations. Alvarado’s technology automatically self-adjusts the rotation speed of the turnstile to the user. If the user pushes easy, the resistance is light. If the user pushes hard, the resistance automatically increases. “HydraLine™ was an option, but the response from customers ordering the option was so overwhelmingly positive that we decided to make it a standard feature,” Alvarado’s Bret Armatas said. All full height turnstiles now include mechanical key overrides in both directions. This allows for the end user to manually lock or unlock the turnstile in either direction of control.
