Speco Website

Is a Good Website a Minimalist Website?

It turns out less isn’t more when it comes to customer-geared websites — plenty of information, graphics and resources are expected — but being able to deliver this in a simple, intuitive way can make all the difference. Speco Technologies recently launched a new redesigned website with a few key considerations in mind to improve the customer experience. The redesign features engaging graphics and simpler top navigation, which allows for more targeted messaging and a consistent brand experience across the site. Speco also spruced up its product and information searching capabilities with enhanced search optimization. The company stated it will add features and functionalities to the site in the coming months. Check out the straightforward design and stay tuned for new features at www.specotech.com.

Digital Shuffle 2

A marketing campaign for G4S Secure Solutions has turned into a global fundraising effort after a song meant to publicize new branding, called “Securing Your World” by recording artist Jon Christopher Davis and record producer Sparky Pearson, was played live at an event and became an instant hit with employees and customers. The company has made the song available for download for $0.99 to raise funds for people in need — specifically families and children. “Securing Your world” is available for download at www.G4Srocks.com.

SFV: Security’s Funniest Videos 1st Edition

Convergint first made us at SDM laugh with soundbytes from cult classic comedies on its website. They continue to follow their Values and Beliefs pledge to promote fun and laughter on a daily basis with a series of videos featuring Convergint Nation, the community made up for Convergint colleagues, partners and customers. The videos feature remakes of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” and Lee Greenwood’s “Proud to Be an American,” full with group dance sequences, singing and new lyrics, as well as a clip from a recent conference where award winners dressed up and performed as members of KISS. You know the saying, the company that recreates a Janet Jackson video together, stays together.

App Controls Audio Systems

Snap-Link Mobile for iPhone allows users to control their entire HAI home or business from an Apple® iPhoneT, iPod TouchT, and iPadT (in compatibility mode) and a new software update (Version 1.2) adds control over HAI’s new Hi-Fi 2 by HAI multi-room audio system, plus the HAI Music Gateway storage device. The app allows remote control capabilities from the iPhone touchscreen such as seeing album art, track title, artists’ names and more, plus skipping less-than-face-melting jams from the couch or patio.
