The North Carolina Electronic Security Association (NCESA)announced it has partnered with ESA for the 2011 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) at the Charlotte Convention Center June 6 to 10.
A General Membership Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 211B at the Charlotte Convention Center for North Carolina professionals to reconnect and participate in round table discussions about industry issues.
During the meeting at 11 a.m., Jared Robert Lee Frye of Avery County High School from Newland, North Carolina will be presented with a $1,000 college scholarship based on his academic achievement, national test scores, extracurricular participation and written essay. The annual scholarship recognizes an outstanding North Carolina high school student with a parent serving as a police or fire official.
NCESA will be located at booth No. 1211 at the expo. The association invites all N.C. conference attendees to learn more about membership and upcoming chapter events and to test their Corn-hole skills for a chance to win exciting prizes. In addition, all new member applicants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an Apple iPad®.
