ASIS International selected its 2011 ASIS Accolades winners. ASIS Accolades is an awards competition that recognizes innovative new products, services, and/or solutions in the security industry.
The winners will be recognized at the ASIS International 57th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2011), held Sept. 19-22 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated more than 70 entries before selecting the top 10 winners. ASIS Accolades are solutions oriented, not product specific, the organization said.

“This year’s program was very competitive, as entrants demonstrated an emphasis on scalability and economy,” observed Accolades co-chair Ron Lander, CPP. “In particular, providers took steps to increase video performance and resolution and ease of user interface. There was a greater focus on market pressures to deliver increased capabilities.”
Co-chair Howard Belfor, CPP, noted, “Overall, the dynamic innovation and adaptability of the industry came through this year. Companies are addressing a diversity of current needs and providing a bridge to newer technologies, while offering new economic efficiencies through reduced installation, set-up, or implementation times.”
Accolades entrants were invited to display their entries in a special area on the Exhibits floor (Booth #2381, Hall B) and winners will be highlighted, along with other new products during the Seminar’s “What’s New on the Floor” session, on Monday, Sept. 19 at 1:45 p.m. in Room W315 AB of the Orange County Convention Center.
