Larco’s Guardian II system provides access control that is affordable and easy-to-use. The non-networked design minimizes installation costs (simply power with 9-12V) and allows users to easily add additional controllers over time. Controllers start at under $400 and come in four different models. Powerful administration software allows access to be controlled by individual, user group, access point, schedule and more. It also provides audit-trail information—showing who attempted/gained access and when. The Guardian II system uses encrypted electronic memory keys. Unlike proximity or magnetic stripe cards, these memory keys are much more rugged and won’t wear out with frequent use.
