Metro Wire & Cable Corp., Detroit, a distributor of electrical and electronic wire and cable products, announced the celebration of 35 years in business. Since its founding on July 6, 1976, Metro Wire has supplied customers across a wide range of industries, evolving from an early focus on automotive and OEM market segments to today’s focus on a wide range of markets, notably utility-based companies and electrical contractors.

“Service is what has made us and kept us successful,” said Donald Ezop, president and founder of Metro Wire. “I believe our service is second to none. Headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Metro Wire is staffed by more than 40 industry professionals, many who have been with the company over ten years. “Our staff has definitely matured to the point where we’ve been able to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions,” said Devin Ezop, manager of human resources. “This depth has contributed tremendously to our success, as well.”
