Outdoor Wireless Contact Works in Extreme Temperatures

Honeywell’s 5816OD outdoor wireless magnetic contact is the latest addition to the 5800 Series wireless products and a first-ever outdoor wireless contact for the company. The 5816OD meets NEMA 4X standards for water protection and has been designed for performance in diverse climates. It is ideal for gates, sheds, fences, barns, detached garages or any outdoor areas in residential or commercial environments. The 5816OD has a gap of 1.75 in. (1.25 in. on steel) to simplify installation while helping prevent false alarms. The housing is paintable. The 5816OD works with Honeywell’s Total Connect Remote Services and is compatible with all Honeywell VISTA and LYNX controls.
