Advanced Technology Video released the CTV36PB, which is a newly designed tower camera offering 600TVL resolution as part of its Specialty Camera series. The tower camera was designed specifically for banking, commercial, national account and retail applications where facial image capture is required. The tower concept allows close up, eye-level imaging of a customer’s facial features. The CTV36PB camera features a new CCD, wide-angle 3.6 mm lens, adjustable height, pan angle, and camera tilt to customize the image view. For designer countertops used in banks or retail stores, a flat metal base with adhesive is included to prevent penetration of the counter surface. Locking mechanisms ensure the camera view is not altered during use.
